Longer AC/DC "Shot In The Dark" Teaser Featured In Dodge Commercial

ac dc power up

AC/DC keep the hype train rolling. This week, they confirmed that vocalist Brian Johnson, drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams were back in the band, and that a new single called "Shot In The Dark" was coming. Now, we have our longest listen at the new single yet, with a large chunk of the song featured in the latest Dodge commercial.

The commercial is a take-off of the Will Ferrell/John C. Reilly film Talladega Nights, and features actor Gary Cole reprising his role of Reese Bobby to encourage his son, a young Ricky Bobby, in a race with his best friend Cal Naughton Jr.. Even though the commercial is set in the 80s, everybody is driving the latest 2021 Dodge vehicles, the 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, the the 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock and the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

Like I mentioned, it's the longest version of the new single yet. The full single is likely to be released this week.

A few weeks back, photos leaked from the music video shoot, and you can get an idea of what to expect from the video here.

Here is the short teaser released last week to hype the new song and music video:
