RTJ4, the new album from Run The Jewels was scheduled to be released this Friday, but in light of what's happening in the world right now, the rap duo has decided to post the album for free two days early.
“Fuck it, why wait,” the rap group wrote. “The world is infested with bullshit so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there.”
The highlight track for me is "JU$T" which features Pharrell Williams and Rage Against the Machine's Zack de la Rocha. It was so good, I had to go back and listen again. Man, I missed Zack's voice.
Another track on the album, "Pulling The Pin" features Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age (along with Mavis Staples).
Listen to the whole album below. Run The Jewels is offering the album as a free download on their website, but as of this writing, it's crashed.
Run the Jewels is encouraging listeners to donate to the National Lawyers Guild and this list of recommended organizations at their website.
