Well here's one hell of a technical death metal group for 2019. Equipoise, now equipped with vocalist Stevie Boiser (Inferi, ex-Vale of Pnath), guitarists Phil Tougas (First Fragment, Chthe'ilist, Zealotry, Serocs), Nick Padovani and Sanjay Kumar (Wormhole, Perihelion), bassist Hugo Doyon-Karout (Beyond Creation, Brought by Pain), keyboardist Jimmy Pitts (Eternity's End, The Fractured Dimension) and drummer Chason Westmoreland (Burning the Masses, ex-The Faceless, Ex-Hate Eternal), will release their new record Demiurgus on March 8.
The band is now streaming their single "Waking Divinity," which you already know rips and give you immediate carpal tunnel syndrome due to the lineup above. If you're into the technical death metal devastation of bands like Inferi, Gorod and Obscura, then you're going to love this.
