There's a cheesy disingenuous way to do retro rock and roll, and then there's a the kickass way The Bronx is doing it. The band's new song "Two Birds" reminds me a lot of when Jet was being pretty heavily played on the radio, though maybe with a touch less cheese and commercial viability. It's also about sex!
"Two birds" is an ode to terrible lovers. Flaming Space trash re-entering the atmosphere and orgasming on impact. Desperate times call for desperate pleasures.
Still, that doesn't mean you need to turn it down. Blast The Bronx's new song below, pre-order V before it's released on September 22, and catch 'em on tour with Plague Vendor and '68!
