Two immediate facts that blew my mind about the new Kalmah single – this is the band's first album in five years and Kalmah has been around for two decades at this point. That being said, we're stoked to still have the band around as long as they're going to keep releasing throwback melodic death metal jams like "Evil Kin." Seriously, if you miss the early-to-mid-2000s melodic death metal boom before the genre's decline, this one is absolutely for you.
Kalmah will release their new album Palo on April 6, which will scratch that itch that bands like Children Of Bodom and In Flames has been leaving periodically unscratched.
