Bangladeafy, the duo consisting of Bangladeshi drummer Atif Haq and hearing-impaired keyboardist and vocalist Jon Ehlers, will release their new album Ribboncutter on September 21. The duo is streaming the title track to the album below, which does not feature any of the usual tech-heavy bass from the band.

Ehlers tells No Clean Singing that isn't indicative of the rest of the album.

“The song is live synths and live drums. No bass for that one, but still heavy as fuck. I came up with the rhythm when I was on a trip in the jungles of Costa Rica and I couldn’t shake it the entire trip.”
