Gatecreeper is back to melt faces with their new single "Masterpiece Of Chaos". On the single, vocalist Chase Mason said: "'Masterpiece of Chaos' is a nightmarish vision of a broken mirror with an ominous creature that lives within the fragmented web of glass. It sonically contrasts and compliments the more melodic approach we took to some of the other songs."
Dark Superstition was written by Gatecreeper alongside drummer and songwriter Fred Estby of legendary Swedish death metal band Dismember, and recorded and mixed at God City Studios in Salem, MA with Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou. Pre-orders are available here.
Gatecreeper will release their highly-aniticpated new record Dark Superstition on May 17, and they've got quite the touring schedule around it. Gatecreeper will hit the road right after the release of Dark Superstition with Undeath, Jarhead Fertilizer and Final Gasp as openers. These dates come after Gatecreeper's trek with In Flames and Creeping Death, and before their European tour featuring 200 Stab Wounds and Enforced. So yeah, they're busy dudes these days.
