GAAHLS WYRD (Ex-GORGOROTH) Drops Unsettling, Blackened New Song "Ghosts Invited"

Black metal with oddly chanted vocals? Sure.

Gaahls Wyrd, the band fronted by Gaahl (ex-Gorgoroth, ex-Wardruna), recently announced a few shows worldwide. Now the band is backing up those dates with a debut new record titled GastiR – Ghosts Invited out May 31. You can check out the "Ghosts Invited" track now, which is a pretty cool mix of black metal with semi-operatic vocals. Not exactly what you're expecting, but Gaahl sure makes it work.
