“When the 3 of us started writing The Devil is a Gentleman a few years back, we were going through some hard times, struggling with depression, loss of faith, and family issues among other things. This album and these songs have been a way for us to express ourselves in a deeper way than ever before, and have really given us a sense of purpose. These songs are immensely personal and cover topics that we have never even talked to our closest friends about. Stylistically our music reflects some of the magic from 2000’s emo and post-hardcore, while also not recycling what’s already been done. Our inspiration ranges from Brand New all the way to The Devil Wears Prada, and everything in between, and I think that range is what makes this album so unique."
