Plus kickass cello.

Plus kickass cello.

Caricature's new song "Focus (P.T.S.D.)" seriously might be their best yet, and this is coming from someone who's been a fan for quite some time now. It's 10 minutes of crushing riffs, cello work from Kakophonix (Abigail WilliamsHvile I Kaos), drumming from Evan Sammons (Last Chance To Reason), and a few solos from Ray Suhy (Six Feet Under, Cannabis Corpse).

Here's what Caricature had to say about the track.

I would like to thank all of you for hanging in there with me for this. The patience, concern, and care that I have been given shall not be forgotten. Here is a big ol song from the record that features Kakophonix-Cellist and Composer / Christopher Edward Brown on cello/strings. Those of you on the west coast should go see him on select dates with Abigail Williams this month and see his band Hvile I Kaos asap.

This track has the core of The Fiction We've Become: Evan Sammons of Last Chance To Reason on drums, Ray Suhy of ~ Six feet under ~ , CannabisCorpse and Gematria on solos 1 and 3 and that Joseph Spiller dude doing something or other. Though all of the songs are personal in nature, this one might be the most personal. The wait is about to end. please share, blog about, rant about. There are zero dollars to promote this. I have broken rule #1-20 of an album release. Just hope this is found and listened to.

Caricature's new album Fiction is out September 7.
