Avatar has emerged from their hut somewhere in the Swedish forest to drop their first single of 2022, and fifth overall since Hunter Gatherer in 2020, "Valley Of Disease." And with lyrics about being the recipient of projectile vomit and dissipating teeth, it's a real charmer sure to bring a smile to your face.
"There is a sickness, a stranger, and a harmful way," said vocalist Johannes Eckerström. "A twisted landscape untouched by the sun. I leave the rest up to either you or me, but never both at the same time. You can only enter this place alone, and my path isn't yours. Your secret is safe with me, but so is mine."
Avatar is currently working on their new record and already has a 2023 European and UK tour lined up starting next February with Veil Of Maya.
