Back in October, Death frontman Chuck Schuldiner's nephew Chris auctioned off Chuck's leather jacket. The jacket ultimately fetched $11,211 on eBay, which may or may not pale in comparison to what's up for sale now. Chris has posted Chuck's backup B.C. Rich Stealth guitar, which he says was used only when Chuck's main black B.C. Rich was out of commission.
Up for grabs is One of Chuck Schuldiner’s personal stealths. This was mostly utilized as a backup when his primary black stealth was out of commission, hence why there are few pictures of him playing it. At some point in his life Chuck decided to strip the paint. I considered restoring it but decided to leave it just way the chuck left it. He was the last one to string this guitar and it hasn’t been touched since. It also comes with the hard case that Chuck toured with. Chuck Schuldiner was my Uncle and that is how I have possession of this, I provide personalized COA upon request. Good luck and happy bidding.
The guitar is also missing the pickup it seems, but with something like this, I'd imagine it won't be seeing too much action anyway. The guitar is also prominently featured on the cover of Death's live album Vivus! as an added piece of cool trivia about it.
Bid here and check out photos of the guitar below.
