Celtic Frost

Celtic Frost recently announced their new box set Danse Macabre and we've teamed up with Gimme Metal for one hell of a multi-colored variant. Get it here! Danse Macabre encompasses their material from 1984 to 1987 and includes the band's classic albums alongside a handful of rarities and goodies, such as some releases back on vinyl for the first time in 30+ years. This version of Danse Macabre is:

  • Morbid Tales
  • To Mega Therion
  • Into The Pandemonium
  • Emperor's Return EP (Back on vinyl for the first time in 37 years)
  • Tragic Serenades EP
  • I Won't Dance EP (Back on vinyl for the first time in 35 years)
  • The Collector's Celtic Frost (Back on vinyl for the first time in 35 years)
  • Visual Aggression 7" single
  • Grave Hill Bunker Rehearsals (Four track rehearsal demo cassette from 1984)
  • 12" x 12" 40 page book of brand new interviews with founding member Tom G Warrior and drummer Reed St Mark. Contains rare and previously unseen photos from the era.
  • Heptagram figurine USB drive containing MP3 audio of all the albums, including bonus tracks
  • Two sided, A2 poster
  • Necromaniac Union fan club enamel badge
  • Danse Macabre sew on woven patch

Check it out right here. And while you're never going to see Celtic Frost again, Triptykon – the band fronted by Celtic Frost founder Tom Gabriel Warrior – has announced an exclusive Celtic Frost tribute set at the Hell's Heroes Festival next March. The set will pull from Celtic Frost's 1984 record Morbid Tales and 1985's To Mega Therion, so warm up your necks because you're about to get a workout! To accommodate the incredible Triptykon set, the festival has been moved to a larger outdoor stage at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, TX.
