Let's get the good news out in the open right up top – everyone is fine and nothing of great value (like a sex tape) was stolen. But someone totally broke into Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee's house in the Calabasas area and did some damage.
According to TMZ, Lee wasn't home at the time as he's been trying to sell the house. Still, the burglars damaged a side gate, broke through a glass back door, smashed some shit in the house… and then stole some cabinet handles and a bathroom mirror. Why the thieves opted to steal something so petty, and something that takes actual work to dislodge given both mirrors and handles are affixed to their objects, is beyond us. But they did it.
We're just glad everyone is alright. In slightly better Mötley News, the band has announced their first US dates with John 5 for at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, NJ. Check those out (and all their other dates) here.
