MARILYN MANSON To Turn Himself Into Authorities in New Hampshire Over Assault Warrant

The Boston Globe reports that Marilyn Manson has reached an agreement to turn himself into authorities in New Hampshire. Manson is wanted for "two counts of simple assault" for allegedly spitting on a videographer during a concert on August 18th, 2019 at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.

Manson reached an agreement with the Gilford, New Hampshire police department's in-house prosecutor. Manson will turn himself in to the police in Los Angeles. There, the police will go through the booking and bail process with Manson before he receives a court date in New Hampshire.

“What this all means for us is that … it has forced Mr. Warner to finally address his outstanding NH warrant, which will, in turn, allow the victim of the crime to have her say/day in Court in order to hopefully hold Mr. Warner accountable for his actions,” Burpee wrote.

TMZ obtained footage that shows Manson sticking his face right in the camera and spitting a loogie. Allegedly, the videographer claimed some of the Manson's spit got on the videographer, resulting in the videographer going to authorities to press charges. The police department said that while the alleged victim didn't suffer any injuries, Manson was charged because spitting constitutes "unprivileged physical contact."

Previously, the Gilford Police Department said they have made Manson aware of the charges for some time but "no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges." TMZ claims Manson's reps deny he was ever contacted.
