One word: Glorious. This will probably always be my favorite Immortal song. Each yell of "Open the gate!!!" contains more glory in one phrase than all the power metal bands in the world could even dream of harnessing in an entire album. A triumph of metal composition within the wider triumph that is Sons of Northern Darkness.
(Note: the song also contains some fitting references to H.P Lovecraft's classic story, At the Mountains of Madness)
