Hey Freaks! Here is a whopper of a year end list to get you googling while I finish up the return of The Obituarist. Even though I ducked out of doing the column for a while, it was truly an absolutely phenomenal year for heavy music, especially if you like it dark and dissonant.
It was also a great year for a lot of classic death metal bands. The thirteen-year old inside me was jumping for joy at all the great nostalgic sounds. I apologize that you have been without my curating services for some time… real life and The Black Dahlia Murder got in the way.
Now that the smoke that was clouding my vision has cleared, I have found myself a resident of Brooklyn, NY.
