As if there weren’t enough supergroups floating around, here’s another one to add to the pile!
Actually, this one does sound pretty sweet. Made up of Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler, Between the Buried and Me guitarist Paul Waggoner, and technical metal extraordinaire Keith Merrow, the as-yet unnamed project has apparently been developing for some time.
From what we’ve heard so far, the project sounds like just that, a fun project. But who knows? I’m assuming it must be just a short-term thing, as both Adler and Waggoner are in active bands with new material in the works. As far as the sound goes, Keith told MetalSucks that its “Very different from any music you’d hear from each of us, individually. All of us are pretty busy these days, but this is a collaboration that we are all really excited about!” For LOG and BTBAM fans like me, this is definitely cause for excitement.
Other details are currently in short supply, but I’m anticipating whatever they make will be worth a listen.
