Trivium frontman Matt Heafy recently visited his ear, nose and throat doctor and being that we live in the digital age, he decided to post photos and video on Instagram about it.  Here's what Matt's vocal chords look like:

Uh, does that look good? Matt reassures us everything is fine:

Cords are good! (White stuff is mucous – yummy). Just mild signs of reflux. Warming up now to get a scope in my nose to see what happens when I scream and sing cord-wise. Should look amazing.

Then, Matt actually started singing. This is what Matt's insides look like when he's belting out "Strife"
