Not even two weeks ago, The Faceless got blasted on social media by an Australian promoter after the band failed to show up for its tour with The Black Dahlia Murder. This led to The Faceless's management dropping them, though The Faceless insisted the reason they never got to Australia was because of stolen equipment and a whole barrage of other reasons.
The Faceless was then scheduled to play Tech Fest 2017 sometime between July 6 and 10 in the UK, as well as tour with Humanity's Last Breath and Ghost Iris. Now according to the festival, The Faceless has cancelled that entire tour and its appearance at Tech Fest.
"We regret to inform you that The Faceless cancelled all EU dates this year, we are awaiting an official statement from the band. Apologies to anyone who was hoping to see them, we have done everything within our power to make this dream a reality!
"We would like to thank Artery Global and their agent Liam John Byrne for their professionalism in handling the matter and their support for Tech-Fest, they too have done all they can to make this happen. Chins up, we will reveal the final secret headliner shortly! Thank you all for your continued support, not long until July 6th now."
So what's going on? Is The Faceless going to dissolve before its new album finally comes out? What's the internal struggle here? Obviously there's a ton of speculation floating around online as to why this is all happening, but there's never been a definitive, outright explanation from within the camp saying what exactly the deal is with, especially with this new cancellation.
