SLIPKNOT Frontman Says The New Record Is A Cross Between Iowa and Vol. 3

This better be good with that kind of statement.

See that up there? That's Slipknot in their Iowa era, and that's what we might be hearing once against for their new record. If that's not the most exciting thing you've heard about the band's upcoming record the I'm not really sure what to tell you. Sorry about you not having a soul, I guess? Pop Culture Madness caught up with the band's frontman Corey Taylor at his recent roast to ask him a little bit about the new record and received this response.

“The rest of the summer is just finishing up a certain album. And that’s about it, really. I’ve got a handful of shows that I’m doing with Stone Sour in July, and then everything is, uh, is Slipknot.”

“I will say that, at the moment, right now, it feels like a great mesh of Iowa and Vol. 3. You’ve got the gorgeous melodies and the artistic direction of Vol. 3 and then you’ve got the absolute brutality of Iowa. And I think people are gonna lose their minds when they hear it.”

When we hear it? Dude I'm already at least a little bit excited right now. Give me the damn record!
