RANDY BLYTHE Czech Trial Day 4: LAMB OF GOD Fan Refutes Witness Testimony

The Czech trial of Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe reached it's final day, for now. Blythe is on trial for what amounts to manslaughter. The prosecution is alleging Blythe pushed a fan, Daniel Nosek, off stage and Nosek sustained injuries that eventually lead to his death one month later.

On day 1 (report here) Blythe testified proclaiming his innocence and on day 2 (report here) friends of the fallen fan, Daniel Nosek testified that Blythe was acting extremely aggressive on stage. Blythe himself checked in on Tuesday night with a statement saying not to believe everything you read online, as some of the reporting is getting lost in translation.

Yesterday, we learned that the trial will be postponed for a month due to a key eyewitness getting sick, but not until one more eyewitness could take the stand.

Today's court session lasted all of 45 minutes. WTVR, who have a reporter at the trial, filed this report:

Concert-goer Lukas Havlena told the court during Thursday’s testimony that he contacted Blythe’s defense team after reading accounts of what other witnesses were saying during the trial. Havlena said he didn’t like the way those witnesses described the situation.

He said he did not think Blythe was aggressive that night, and that fans should realize any aggressive behavior displayed on stage is just part of the show.

He also said each time somebody got on the stage, Blythe demonstrated they weren’t allowed there.

Additionally, WTVR reports that the judges made clear that other than the sick eyewitness, key criminal psychologists will be brought in to testify in March, and were unable to do so this week.

Blythe will return to the States until the trial reconvenes on March 4th. He has stated to the judges that will definitely return to stand trial again. Blythe is facing a potential sentence of 10 years in prison, and the family of Nosek are seeking  $530,000 in damages.
