Recently we posted up a video of Napalm Death playing a new jam titled "Dear Slum Landlord" at Roadburn 2014, which got me wondering if we were going to hear anything about a new record or if it was just a song they were working on. Well the band cleared up that confusion nicely with a Facebook post saying they had begun to track drums for the new record and peppered it up with some solid adjectives.
"First night done laying some more drum tracks down for the new ND Album..A different approach than the last record with different recording sessions,,some of the songs are worked out and some songs we are going for a more spontaneous approach to see where it takes us but so far we are getting some cool dynamics in drum tones and songs which will ultimately lead to a more diverse and crazy sounding album..it's looking good so far !!"
No word on where the band is tracking or anything of the sort, but a new Napalm Death record is still an enticing prospect nonetheless!
