Metallica announced they'll reprise their 1999 effort S&M, or Symphony & Metallica, at the inaugural Chase Center Concert show on September 6 with the San Francisco Symphony. Tickets went on sale for the band's Metallica Legacy and Fifth Member clubs yesterday, March 19. Or at least that was the plan until bots immediately snatched up a lot of the tickets before anyone could buy them and immediately put them up for massively-inflated resale prices on StubHub.
According to quite a few fans on Twitter via Metal Insider, they were online the second the tickets went on sale and still missed out. Though hey, at least they can buy the tickets for way over face value because Ticketmaster either refuses to get their shit together, or just doesn't care about you.
Continue button doesn't work and then the page refreshes itself and shows me this ?? of course I have lost the tickets. Been absolutely played here ?? @ChaseCenter @ticketstoday @Metallica pic.twitter.com/7XK75niofh

@Metallica your fan club presale was disappointing ? Waited all morning to get those tickets and they were sold out before I even clicked the button ? Bad omen to that new arena. #unforgiven #metallica
