Killer Be Killed is composed of the very busy lineup of vocalist and guitarist Max Cavalera (Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly), Greg Puciato (The Black Queen, The Dillinger Escape Plan), bassist Troy Sanders (Mastodon, Gone Is Gone), and drummer Ben Koller (Mutoid Man, Converge). The band released its self-titled debut album in 2014, and the last we heard was that ideas were being "stockpiled" in late 2015.
While there hasn't been much updates between then and now, aside from the fact that Puciato will have more free time on his hands soon, we do have a little hope from Cavalera. According to Cavalera in an interview with Full Metal Jackie, he'd love to do another Killer Be Killed album.
"I’d love to do a little bit with Killer Be Killed … We did one record and it was very well received, and I think we can do a better one than that. I think we can really — if we work hard on it — we can make a kick ass second Killer Be Killed album."
2017 seems unlikely considering The Dillinger Escape Plan is doing its farewell tour, Mastodon will be touring for its new album probably, and Koller will be doing the same with Mutoid Man, but maybe 2018?
