Remember last week when we were talking about the strong possibility of a new All Shall Perish record and how we have no idea who is in the band anymore? Now we've got yet another variable! Drummer Adam Pierce has joined Emmure full time, as opposed to just being the touring member for the band in the absence of former drummer Mark Castillo. Pierce has been touring with Emmure for the better part of the year but the band finally made it official:
"We are happy to officially announce Adam Pierce being the new drummer for Emmure. His professional attitude towards touring, writing music and being in Emmure has given us a very positive and energetic outlook for the future. This may not be news to some of you as we've been all over the world together at this point. We welcome Adam to the group."
For those worried what this means for All Shall Perish's scheduled release this year, don't worry. Pearce still lists himself as drummer for All Shall Perish on his Twitter, and we've heard he plans on pulling double duty.
Emmure hit the road with Suicide Silence shortly, which coincidentally features former All Shall Perish vocalist Eddie Hermida.
