It's been three years since Disturbed came back from hiatus with their 2015 album Immortalized, though that album was constantly kept fresh in our minds by the non-stop playing of the band's cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound Of Silence." Now Disturbed appears to be teasing that they're in the studio working on a new album for this year, and we're really, really hoping there isn't another cover on there that's going to incessantly be played over the next three years.
We're also still waiting on that acoustic EP Disturbed said they wanted to do, which supposedly is out before the new album. Seriously though, like them or not I'm sure Disturbed is going to do pretty well for themselves with this new album, especially considering they're still fairly recently off a lengthy-ish hiatus. Disturbed has also announced they'll be headlining Rock Fest in Cadott, WI between July 12 and 14 alongside Godsmack and Incubus, and you can check out that flyer below the studio tease.
