When Glenn Danzig isn't busy doing Danzig or making a ton off the Misfits reunion shows, he's working on his debut film Verotika. The film is based on three character storylines from Danzig's comic series of the same name, and so far we know the film adaptation will star Kayden Kross, Ashley Wisdom, Rachel Alig and Alice Haig. The movie will also have a soundtrack composed by Danzig himself.
You can check out a few stills from the movie below. Danzig reveals in the same post that Verotika is done being filmed and is in post-production. According to Revolver, Danzig says the film will have "a lot of the stuff I love … shadowy stuff, gore and all of it. I'm not doing anything other than an R movie. I like boobs and blood." So it'll be a Danzig project, alright.
He also says he'll be putting the movie out via Cleopatra Records.
"I'm finally getting to direct my own movie and no one's going to tell me how to do it. It's one of the reasons I'm doing it with [CEO] Brian Perera and Cleopatra Records. He's like, 'I want you to have your vision.' Who's going to tell you that? I've had so many meetings with places that are just going to step all over my movie and then people are going to judge me and it's not even my movie. So I'm pretty happy."
