If you're going to head to the second leg of Slayer's final North American tour, which kicks off tonight – you might notice somebody missing during Lamb of God's set. Due to some "unforeseen circumstances," Adler has to sit out the tour.
The band have posted the following statement:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that Chris Adler will not be performing on our upcoming North American tour with Slayer. In his absence, we would like to welcome Art Cruz, who will be filling in at the recommendation of Chris. We expect to see Chris returning in the very near future. We will see you all on the road soon.”
It's a big bummer and I'm sure Adler would absolutely love to be there opening for Slayer on their last go-around, so I'm sure this was something that Adler absolutely had to attend to. Here are the dates Adler is missing:
July 26 Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, Gilford, NH
July 27 Impact Music Festival, Darling's Waterfront Pavilion, Bangor, ME
July 29 Northwell Health at Jones Beach, Wantagh, NY
July 31 The Pavilion at Montage Mountain, Scranton, PA
