One year ago, vocalist CJ McMahon quit Austrlian up-and-coming deathcore act Thy Art Is Murder claiming "I can't live like this anymore," adding "I spend too much time away from my fiancé , family and friends, touring has taken a massive mental, emotional and physical toll on me," claiming to only make $16k-$18k a year for the last few years and that he couldn't live like this anymore.
I guess a year away from the spotlight has caused CJ to reassess his priorities, as it seems he has decided to rejoin the band CJ hopped up on stage to join his former bandmates at Unify festival in Tarwin Meadows, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia on Saturday, Jan. 14th.

In the video below, CJ seems to insinuate he's back in the band full time, stating that he "was a drug addict" who "got married and did some fucking soul searching" during his break from the band, later adding "Now I'm back to take over the world."
As of this writing, the band have yet to officially comment on the situation. No word on what's going on with CJ's replacement, Molotov Solution vocalist Nick Arthur. We'll keep you posted when there is something more concrete. For now, let us know your thoughts on CJ rejoining the band in the comments.
