Wow: Every TOOL Album Has Already Cracked The iTunes Top 10

Tool fans were waiting for the band to come to streaming services for a very long time. Today, they finally got their wish, as Tool's entire back catalog has been made available on basically every streaming or digital download service out there.

Because of how long fans have been waiting to stream the albums and the big launch today, it didn't take long for every Tool album to make it to the top of the iTunes charts. It should be noted that the iTunes chart only tracks downloads.

This is the first time Tool has ever made their music available to own digitally, so it makes sense that within less than a day all the albums made it into the Top 10 album charts with Ænima performing the best, taking the number two spot, Lateralus, 10,000 Days, and Undertow taking number four, five and six respectively, with the Opiate EP coming in at number eight.

As far as single downloads, "Sober" ranks the highest, currently sitting as the #2 most downloaded song on iTunes, with "Schism" (#6), "Forty Six & 2" (7) and "Stinkfist" (#8) also charting.

A quick glance at the Apple Music charts, which are only streaming numbers, Ænima is at #36.

Still, a great showing for a historic catalogue of a band, and a good way to get the hype train rolling for their new album release, Fear Inoculum, which is out August 30th.
