WOVENHAND Brings The Western-Flavored Twang Rock With Star Treatment

Okay, let's be real. This Wovenhand album is awesome.

Okay, let's be real. This Wovenhand album is awesome.

David Eugene Edwards has been bringing his brand of Americana rock n' roll to the table with Wovenhand since 2001, and 15 years he still hasn't lost his touch. I'll be honest – the first single I heard from Wovenhand's upcoming album Star Treatment didn't really sell me on it. It wasn't a bad song, it just didn't hit me in such a way that I was curious to hear more.

That being said, I rescind my previous statements of the music being "just alright," because Star Treatment is actually a damn fine album. It's catchy, it's gritty, and it just feels like a rock n' roll album should.

You can hear it in full for yourself below, and then pre-order the effort before it's out via Sargent House this Friday.
