WEEKEND NACHOS Posts Its Crushing New Song "Writhe" Off Its Final Record

Weekend Nachos announced at the start of 2016 that it would be releasing one more record, doing some touring, and then calling it quits forever. So in a bittersweet way, we're here to inform you that Weekend Nachos will be releasing its last album, titled Apology, on May 20 via Relapse Records.

The band released the following, ridiculously honest statement to MetalSucks, along with the song, regarding the record.

“Honestly, it’s a really really good record. I was nervous the whole time we were writing it, because it was like ‘This is it… this is our swansong. I hope we aren’t scraping the bottom of the barrel here.’ Truth is, we did scrape the bottom of the barrel, and it was the very last of the great material we’re capable of.”

Self-awareness! Might as well go out on a high note, right?
