Porno For Pyros played their first show since vocalist Perry Farrell's birthday bash in 2009 at Welcome To Rockville over the weekend. The reunion show was a last-minute addition to the festival after Jane's Addiction (Farrell's other band) dropped off the bill due to guitarist Dave Navarro dealing with COVID. The last full-on Porno For Pyros show in front of a paying crowd was at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL on September 17, 1998.

Check out some fan-filmed footage of the show below, which ran as follows:

  1. "Porpoise Head"
  2. "Sadness"
  3. "Porno for Pyros"
  4. "Meija"
  5. "Cursed Female"
  6. "Pets"
  7. "Blood Rag"
  8. "Ain't No Right" (Jane's Addiction cover)
  9. "Good God's://Urge!"
  10. "Tahitian Moon"
  11. "1%" (Jane's Addiction cover)
  12. "Mountain Song" (Jane's Addiction cover)
  13. "Stop" (Jane's Addiction cover)

"The gang and the government are no different," said Farrell in a statement issued by Welcome To Rockville at the time of Jane's Addiction's cancellation. "That makes me 1%. Rockville, although we are blue that Jane's cannot be with you at this time due to Dave's long bout with COVID, I am still coming to Daytona, bringing to you for the first time in 26 years Porno For Pyros featuring myself, Perry Farrrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefeno and Mike Watt. We'll play some Jane's songs for you as well, but for now let's recall: My boat's capsized it's gonna sink to the bottom. I can see the lights on the shore…"

Porno For Pyros recently reunited for the digital edition of Lollapalooza in 2020, dubbed Lolla2020. The reunion show is also not that surprising considering DiStefano made it known that he and Perkins were working on the follow-up to Porno For Pyros' 1996 (and so far final) album Good God's Urge.
