Watch: DRAIN's Vocalist Gave One Stagediver A Wedgie

They had a good laugh about it.

Drain Wedgie

Just when you thought you've seen it all, some other crazy stuff happens. This time it's all about Drain vocalist Sammy Ciaramitaro giving one stagediving dude a wedgie before returning to the microphone. The receiver of the wedgie clearly had no idea what was happening, turned around and looked like they were about to start swinging, and then had a good laugh and jumped.

To be fair, Ciaramitaro commented that he would've understood if the dude turned around and decked him. You can watch footage of the incident below, which might change your mind about trying to stage dive at a Drain show. Or make you more into it – we're not judging.

When not handing out wedgies, Drain will release their new record Living Proof on May 5. If you haven't done so already, you can check out the ass-beater of a track "FTS (KYS)" below.

"Read the lyrics to this song before you make an assumption on what it's about," said Ciaramitaro of the single. "This song and this band are all about bettering yourself and the world around you. Sometimes it takes drastic measures to be the person you want to be and I hope this song can give someone the push they might be needing to make that jump.

"I didn't become straight edge until I was 22, which is a lot later than most of my peers, and I had always wanted to write a song about my journey to sobriety from my standpoint as someone who did in fact indulge in a lifestyle of excess. I know that if I was in that situation, there has to be others that are just like me and I really wanted to write something for those kids.

"We had a lot of fun writing this song because we got to experiment with different song structures, wild drum and riffing patterns, and we got to go full 'crazy train' with the percussion instruments!"

Pre-orders for Living Proof are available here.
