Watch: 12-Year-Old Tye Trujillo Jams With SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, Show Gets Shut Down

What a day for Suicidal Tendencies fans.

What a day for Suicidal Tendencies fans.

It was a busy weekend for Suicidal Tendencies. The band attempted to play a free gig in Los Angeles, yesterday, June 4th. The gig was the official unveiling of a mural of frontman Mike Muir which was commissioned by L.A. City Councilmember José Huizar and was painted by Robert Vargas.

That wasn't all. Former Muir collaborator and current Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo's family was in attendance, including 12-year-old son Tye, fresh off a tour with Korn. Tye couldn't help but get on stage and jam with the band during soundcheck:

Unfortunately, the show got shut down after four songs by cops when fans managed to break through the gate for the free show. Here's footage of the breakthrough:

It looks like somebody captured the entire event:

Earlier today, we learned that frontman Mike Muir is not really interested in creating any more Suicidal Tendencies albums.
