Didn't Tombs just announce they would be releasing their new album Savage Gold? I feel like we got a single off this one pretty quick… and in no way, shape or form is that a bad thing. The band dropped "Edge of Darkness" yesterday and it is five-and-a-half-minutes of interesting heaviness. The song kicks off nice and quick and then slows down in a doom-groove, which of course has some speedy blasting in there as well. Overall I'd say this bodes extremely well for the next record!
Savage Gold comes out Jun. 10 via Relapse Records.
