Them, who consist of vocalist Troy Norr (Coldsteel), guitarists Markus Johansson (4Arm, Sylencer) and Markus Ullrich (Lanfear, A Cosmic Trail), bassist Mike LePond (Symphony X), drummer Kevin Talley (Daath, Suffocation), and keyboardist Richard "Richy" Seibel (Lanfear, A Cosmic Trail), will be releasing its debut album Sweet Hollow on September 30 via Empire Records.
You can check out a handful of singles at the bottom of this post from the band's previously released sampler EP, and I'm sure you'll find yourself thinking "man, these guys sound like King Diamond." Which is true! The band started in 2008 as a King Diamond tribute band, which then turned an eye toward originals in 2014… and it's seriously great. It's easy to wear a King Diamond influence on your sleeve, nevermind take that sound and really mold it into your own!
