THE OMEGA EXPERIMENT Give Some Sneak Peeks at New Material

Which is infinitely exciting, considering they had one of the best albums out in 2012. Hell, grab yourself a copy right here via Listenable Records.

The Omega Experiment are one of those bands that instantly grabbed the spotlight and never managed to let go. From the demo EP to the debut, it's been non-stop perfection, and the new stuff doesn't sound like it'll be much of a break from that tradition. First off, check out the insane major-key grindings of "Realm." It's kinda like Devin Townsend joined forced with a band like Anaal Nathrakh, snagged a keyboard, and just went mental with it. Surf around on their YouTube channel while you're there- lots of cool stuff. Then head on over to their Facebook page and rock to the Queensryche-style vocal harmonies of "Eyes of a Stranger." There's no way the new record isn't going to amazing; there's too much going for it already. With just one album under their belt, The Omega Experiment has nailed down an instantly identifiable sound that'll stick with you for quite some time.
