THE MELVINS' Cover Of "Carol Of The Bells" Is Creepy As Hell

A spooky holiday for all?

A spooky holiday for all?

Amazon's Indie For The Holidays playlist is one that features artists doing renditions of their favorite holiday songs. Somehow The Melvins managed to sneak on in there and deliver unto the world a cartoonishly creepy version of "Carol Of The Bells."

Buzz Osborne says the reason the cover is so creepy is because the song "has scared us since we were children, that’s why we wanted to do it." I guess combat creepy with even more creepy, right? The playlist is currently available on Amazon's Music Unlimited streaming service, though you can get weird with Osborne and the gang below.
