The Acacia Strain are dropping their brand new Above/Below EP today via Rise Records, and they're letting you try before you buy. We posted "Above" recently, and you can stream "Below" right here:
"Above" was a good song, it was everything I wanted The Acacia Strain to be now that they've lost their old guitarist and main songwriter Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz.
"Below" is just the absolute balls of the double single and proves even further than the band didn't need DL nearly as much as fans might have thought. It's nice to see they've come back from the "chugzcore" thing they got stuck in for the last two albus and really got back to riffing just like they did on Continent and older.
Oh, and don't worry about waiting if you don't want to- the EP is available on iTunes now for less than three bucks!
