Stray From the Path hit up the politics on their new single "False Flag," and it's pretty interesting to say the least.
Before you accuse me of not liking this because it's punk or whatever, just don't. Stop. "False Flag" is one of those songs where you're all like, "hell yeah, this is going to be sick and political like old Anti-Flag was! But way more hardcore!" So you hit play and the riff that opens is alright, and then the lyrics come in… and they're totally Rage Against the Machine and a little bit lame. The whole "A-M-E-Are you listening?" thing gets old fast and the riffs comes and go, some good and some just alright. I'm hoping for better things from these guys, because they obviously can play… but this song is just not it for me.
