In Solitude have been drawing a lot of comparisons to the modern occult rock sound popularized by bands like Ghost and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. While I'm totally seeing where that comparison might be drawn, it's worth noting that the album carries a certain heaviness with it and forgoes a lot of the foofaraw that some of the "retro" bands are going for (not including the aforementioned).
