RAMMING SPEED Grind Dissent On New Track

Ramming Speed might have just released what might the catchiest thrash song of 2013 by a long shot off their upcoming record, Doomed to Destroy, Destined to Destroy.

Real friggin' surprise that Kurt Ballou made this sound awesome as all hell, but the music with or without Ballou's magical distorted fingers would be badass. The song thrashes its way into your brain, and then finished up with some pretty anthem-laden 80's rock-type jams. Just… damn. I haven't been that impressed with a thrashy grind-type song in a while. It's grindy and fast, but it isn't stupid, and that's what gets me. I would have to suggest getting Ramming Speed's record when it comes out. The band has to say-

"Grinding Dissent" is a track from Ramming Speed's Kurt Ballou-tracked Prosthetic debut, "Doomed To Destroy, Destined To Die," due out June 25 on CD, LP, cassette and digital download. The band commented on the track as follows: "'Grinding Dissent' is largely about America's facade of righteousness and freedom. A government that is 'for the people' may or may not have originally been the goal, but in this day and age, it's obvious that protest and free speech aren't welcome. Our police departments have military-grade weapons turned on civilians to keep us quiet while politicians smile and shake hands behind closed doors. Musically. the song starts off with punishing D-beat and ends with Ferrari-sized, Piña Colada-chugging twin guitar riffage! Put this shit on 11, crack a beer and scream at the sun."
