We don't normally cover Staind here on Metal Injection, but this is something that needs to be addressed. The band were playing Rockfest on May 31 in Kansas City when frontman Aaron Lewis stopped the band in the middle of "Something to Remind You" to berate the crowd way hard over them groping a girl while she was crowd surfing. In the numerous videos I've seen, I can't really see what's going on with the girl in question but I still say good on Lewis for stepping up and saying something- that's way fucked up if it actually did happen.

I understand when you're crowd surfing it might get a little uncomfortable because you're being supported by the hands of a bunch of other people, but if this inappropriate groping was actually visible… wow. Despite agreeing with Lewis about groping, I don't think he should be threatening violence against the people either. Call those responsible out if you can identify them and just let security throw 'em out.
