OBITUARY Performing Three New Songs Live!

To recap on the topic of a new Obituary record, the band took to Kickstarter and were asking for $10,000 to get the next record done up to their standards. Instead of $10,000, they got $60,669, which means the band will also video their recording process and even release another song exclusive to their backers… sick!

Now fast forward to last Friday when the band played a show at The Brass Mug in Tampa, FL. They ripped through the gambit of classics and three friggin' new songs (all untitled)! Two of the songs are played back to back and can be heard around the 24:00 mark, while the last song can be heard way at the end right before the band close with "I'm In Pain" and "Slowly We Rot." Unsurprisingly the songs groove like crazy and generally kick ass, so it's safe to assume the new record will have at least three awesome songs on it!
