Listen: THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Really Hoped Their MEGADETH Cover Would Make It Into Bill & Ted

It was a cover of "Go To Hell".

Megadeth originally released their track "Go to Hell" as a part of the Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack in 1991. Then in 2019, The Black Dahlia Murder released a cover of the song on their Verminous album, which you only would've heard if you were quick enough to pick up the limited edition digipak version.

he band was hoping the cover would make it onto the soundtrack for Bill & Ted Face the Music. It did not.

"It’s Bill and Ted Face The Music day! We covered this Megadeth song from the Bogus Journey sequel in hopes that we could weasel our way on to the Bill and Ted 3 soundtrack. It didn’t pan out, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t rule."
