ABIOTIC Drops First New Song In Four Years, "Emerald"

Very tech death, as always.

Abiotic

Abiotic recently announced they were returning from hiatus, as well as hitting the studio. No new record has yet been announced, but in the meantime they've dropped a new song called "Emerald." Abiotic says the song is a tribute to one of the band's closest friends losing his wife, and that they'll be donating 25% of all the proceeds to her 10-year old son's education, the James Pennington Education Fund.

'Emerald' is the culmination of nearly three years of thinking Abiotic would never be again. The song is based on the tragic event of one of the band's closest friends losing his wife, her final day, and what it meant to the ones that loved her most. She is survived by their 10 year old son and 25% of the proceeds will be going to his education, the James Pennington Education Fund. A huge thank you goes out to everyone supporting us and in turn, helping someone a part of the Abiotic family to heal from a tragedy. Experience the pain of loss with us.

Abiotic is guitarists Matt Mendez and Johnathan Matos, as well as vocalist Travis Bartosek, all of whom were in the band when the hiatus happened. They've recruited drummer Anthony Lusk-Simone, and Scale The Summit bassist Kilian Duarte.
