Guns N Roses marketing team is really doing a great job slowly leaking bits of info to the media to plant the seeds of excitement for their eventual reunion announcement. The band’s website was updated over the weekend to feature the classic 80’s logo, further fueling speculation that Axl, Slash, Duff and maybe more classic GNR members are getting the band back together, although the rumor is it's just those three.
We’ve been hearing some reports from fans who showed up early for a Star Wars screening and saw some GNR teasers. The teasers would air during AMC theaters’ "First Look," that bullshit package of commercials they try to pass off as a show. In between commercials, they would air snippets of crowd shots with riffs from "Welcome to the Jungle" playing, and then during the final snippet there was a "Coming Soon" graphic. It’s safe to say that by the time the New Year rolls around, maybe shortly after…maybe shortly before… Guns N Roses will announce they’re reuniting. Will it be at Coachella or somewhere else? I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough
