Brain Tentacles is the band that consists of drummer Dave Witte (Municipal Waste, ex-Discordance Axis), saxophonist, vocalist, and pianist Bruce Lamont (Corrections House, Yakuza, etc.), and bassist, vocalist, and synth player Aaron Dallison (Keelhaul), and who you should be familiar with considering they're about to tour with Gorguts and Intronaut and recently had a killer split with Ringworm.
More importantly, the band has also announced that it'll be releasing its self-titled debut on September 30 via Relapse Records. You can check out the song "The Sadist" below, which I can honestly say sounds nothing like anything I've ever heard before. It's just this crazy, jazzy, truly experimental stab at metal that works in the most insane way.
